My name
is Marina. I have lived in Russia for 34 years. I was born
in the south of my huge country - in Rostov-on-Don - on August 16,
1969. I still live and work here. I have a higher technical education,
I speak fair English and some French with a dictionary. I am an Engineer
by primary education, but I had to change professions and studied
accounting. Now I am working as an Account for a big enterprise. I
like my job and our friendly female staff. I have to work a lot to
be able to afford a decent life and to educate my thirteen-year-old
daughter. Unfortunately, my marriage broke up several years ago. But
I have a wonderful daughter from it, whom I love dearly.
I can
say about my looks that I am not tall, but slender. My height is 160
cm, weight 50 kg. I have brown eyes and dark blond hair. I am an Orthodox
Christian, I respect laws of God, but do not go to church on a regular
basis.
I like
to lead a healthy life style. I try to eat healthy, always look after
my own health and the health of my close people. I exercise regularly
to feel cheerful, vigorous and flexible.
I like
looking after myself and being joyful and vivacious. I also love dearly
and care for my relatives: my daughter, parents, my elder sister's
family. They are living in a nearby town and my daughter and I like
visiting them and taking them in at our home.
In general,
I like being with my family. Unfortunately, at the moment there's
no dear and beloved man in it, but I am an optimist and I hope that
I'll meet him. This is just a matter of time.
I am
dreaming of quiet family evenings, when I can cook something delicious
for dinner and then to watch a nice movie all together, or to read
something interesting or maybe to go out for a walk along the park
alleys.
As for
my hobby, I think it is reading. I also like knitting and crocheting.
If to speak about books and authors in particular, then, undoubtedly,
I cannot help admiring works of genius by Russian classic writers
such as Alexander Pushkin and Mikhail Lermontov. But most of all I
like reading historical novels about Old Russia and books about lives
of outstanding people. Recently I read books by Irving Stone about
unordinary lives of Van Gogh and Jack London.
Yes,
music means a lot for me too. When I feel good or sad I listen to
my favorite performers. I cannot say which trends I like the most.
I just love listening to good music, which can be of any style: 'Carmen',
'The Nutcracker', along with it I like songs by 'Queen' and the voice
of Shirley Bassey, as well as some Russian singers.
Sometimes
I go to the theater to see the season's first night. I also like watching
action films on a big screen of a movie theater.
On holiday
I prefer to go to the sea or to some picturesque place of Russia.
There are wonderful places at upriver Don.
I would
like to get acquainted with an independent man, who lives the life
happily, values every moment of it, leads a healthy life style, is
fond of sports (preferably does not smoke), and who is interested
in different spheres of life and likes being up-to-date. I would like
to fall in love with a man of a big heart and share my great potential
of love and affection with him. I would like us to be interesting
for each other in many things and our relationships be based on mutual
respect, understanding and genuine kind feelings.
