It is not easy to talk about yourself, especially when you are over 40 and there's a lot behind your back. How to express in one story all feelings and thoughts which a woman has and how to reveal the individuality, as very often even close people cannot look deep inside your heart and it happens that even the person himself/herself cannot understand their own aspirations, longings and desires.

I will try to tell you about myself and it will be a kind of self-discovery for me too.

My name is Olga. I was born in 1960, in spring, in May. Probably that is why the sunlight, warmth, coziness, odors of flowers, and singing of birds is the environment I feel comfortable in. So I value coziness at home, light colors and try to create the atmosphere of warmth for my son and people who come to visit us.

I was born on 13th. But contrary to most people I don't find this number unlucky or complicated. By my life I want to prove that happiness is in people's hands, regardless of their age, date of birth or the circumstances people find themselves in. So my motto is: "To live! Because life is beautiful!"

A person who loves life must love people and first of all children, in my opinion. So I don't think you'll be surprised to know that I am a teacher by profession. I have worked as a teacher of biology for over 20 years. I love my job and I have achieved certain results. I have a prize of the Ministry of Education of Russia and a grant of Jorge Soros. But my dearest prize is love of my students.

My pet student, my friend and helper is my son. He is 20. He is a student of a University. My son and his friends with their interests and problems help me to forget about age, to be young and to strive for an active life. My favorite hobby is sport. I try to keep fit (my height is 158 cm, weight 65 kg) and have a healthy life style. I go to a swimming pool, sauna, fitness and yoga. I like traveling around Russia and abroad. I have been to many European countries as a tourist with my students. I have been to America three times within an exchange program. I think that an active life style will let me live not only long but interesting.

However, besides taking care of the outside, I have interests for the inside. There are many theaters in Rostov-on-Don, where I live. I try not to miss any first night, follow issuance of new books, like classics, and when I have the right mood I like dancing to country music.

On the whole, I am an active person, I am always doing something and always trying to learn something - be it a new profession (I took a course in Psychology) or a culinary dish, a new style in fitness or learning English. There are moments when I feel an inclination to look inside my heart and to understand myself better, to decide what to do next and where to go, to reevaluate goals and that is why an important part of my life is religion. I am a Christian. I have a special attitude towards religion as there were clerical people in my family. I am not fanatic but I believe that there is God, thus everyone is responsible for their actions not only to themselves, children and the state, but also God.

What kind of person I would like to find? I don't think that the color of his eyes, age or height really matter for me. It is important though that he is self-sufficient, shares my interests and lifestyle. I would like him to strive for self-development and to love life for life is beautiful!
