I was
born and grew up in a village. I left the village to study at a University
in a city, and have continued to connect the city with my life. I
like to feel useful and society be better, to help people, and to
share the wealth of knowledge. My life is like rough stream water
in the river. My daily life is teaching at the University, working
in public organizations, scientific activities, and attending seminars
and conferences, participate in round table discussions and meetings.
But sometimes I feel it would be desirable to reduce my activities
and to look round around and see our fine World and take time to smell
the roses. I cannot complain about having daily dialogue with people,
but all these dialogues are professional. And it would be desirable
for me to be more warm and sincere, to rejoice in declining some activities.
I would like to share my warmth and tenderness and to feel support.
Since my daughters have grown and have left, I feel that I do not
have a loved one to share life's simple pleasures. I now look for
the real man that together with we could open for ourselves simple
pleasures of a life.
At my free time I like to be engaged in handmade projects, to ski,
to swim, to bake pies and enjoy simple to walks. When it's possible,
I am going to my summer house and enjoy a village life - I go to the
forest and pick up berries, I grow flowers in my garden in the village.
Sometimes I go to theatres and concerts. I prefer to read classics
and historic novels. I know English (my first formation - the teacher
of English language); I can speak German and Finnish a little. We
live in a century of an information technology, therefore I have learnt
to understand the Internet and I use it for research of the interesting
information. This experience to look for a partner through the agency
is a kind of adventure for me, but if we won't take a chance, we would
