My name is Marianna. I am from Taganrog, Russia. I grew in
the city founded by the Peter the Great, the outstanding Russian tzar
and where another famous man was born - Anton Chekhov (famous Russian
writer). I was born on the 30th of July in the year of Tiger, my Zodiac
sign is Leo, even though I think I am more like a domesticated pet
- kitten, who wants to be loved and cared of, who would like to have
a cozy home where she could cuddle somewhere in the warm corner, purring
something happy, feeling the gentle hand of her host...
I was raised in
a very good and kind family. I am an adult person now but I still
keep good and friendly relations with them! After graduating from
school I studied at the Medical college, so I can work as a nurse
at the emergency.
When I was 18
I married a wonderful man and soon gave the birth to two of our sons.
Being married to military fighter-pilot , I could not imagine how
dangerous my husband's profession was, and you can understand what
kind tragedy I experienced when I became a widow when I was only 26
years old. It was the same time when USSR collapsed and serious changes
in economic and social life started! I know, it was very hard time
not only for me but for everybody, but I was alone and I had to be
a Mom and a Dad at the same time for my boys! Now, when so much is
behind, I can be pretty proud of them! I was able to become their
friend and I know that they are and will always be decent persons!
My elder son is
18. He is fond of sports and tourism very much! He has been around
half of the country! After visiting Russian Far East he came home
with a present for me - a beautiful starfish, when he returned home
from mountains, he brought some mountain herbs. My younger son is
16, he is keen on computers. Time flies and I feel that the pain of
husband’s death is gradually going away and I am ready to start over!
Now when I am 38, I think it is time to try again!
I am in my late
30th but I look younger, may be because I smile very often. I have
a very positive attitude to life and I am strong at even at the most
difficult moments of life. I try to face all hardships that I may
encounter in my life. I try not to be haughty and to accept people
as they are without trying to change them! I am lucky to have wonderful
relations with my friends, my home is open for them always and they
come to me with all their pains and problems as well as with all their
happy and merry moments in life!
I have a very
good friend - my dog, Cocker-Spaniel, her name is Linda. She greets
happily everyone who enters our home! And if I feel sad, I like to
watch fish in aquarium at my home. It helps me to calm down. I am
a very cheerful person and I think I have a sense of humor! But I
am a very serious person as well.
My height is 160
and my weight is 58 kg, my hair is fair and I have"tiger-eyes", something
between brown and green. I like aerobics and for in for it with great
pleasure! Right now I don’t work and live for the pension that I get
from military for my husband. May be this might sound a bit old-fashioned,
but I like cooking, I like sewing and making my home the most cozy
place in the world!
I like grow different
plants at our summer house and at home. These are fruit and vegetables
that I grow every year in the garden of our summer house (it is called"dacha" in Russia) and then I make the preserves from what I manage
to grow. I think that jam made from wonderful apricots reminds about
the sunny summer when you have tea with it looking at snow outside...
I like indoor plants and grow many exotic plants which decorate my
home.
I like traveling
and when I had opportunities I visited many places in the former Soviet
Union and I hope some day I will be able to visit other countries,
for example Japan and Australia. As for my favorite city in Russia,
it is definitely Saint Petersburg.
I would be more
than happy to meet my soul mate, who could be with me in all ups and
downs. And if he is able to love me I can promise he won’t find more
faithful friend and more loving wife than me! Write me, I speak English
a little.
