A good beginning, isn't it? A modest one, what is
really important! Well, if you have not gone crazy of this outstanding
barefaced impudence and you feel resolute to go on reading and looking
for hidden treasures has been the only business of all your life,
you may be sure that you are extremely lucky and you may have found
at last the diamond you have been looking for long and fatiguing years.
Telling you some secret characteristics I should
say that this diamond has rather earthy (or may be heavenly) name
Angelica. It is not as old as a treasure can be - only 29,
but it is really huge - being 170 cm tall its weight is 55 kg! Now
add endless energy, sociability, natural cheerfulness combined with
a brilliant sense of humor (you have already noticed it, of course),
kind heart, romantic, extremely charming, intelligent, modest, of
course, well, and a lot of other advantages having learnt about which
you will not deny yourself owning this treasure.
Well, and now about me! I was born at noon on a hot
day on 26 May in 1972 in the city on the Baltic shore, which is called
Kaliningrad and which used to be the capital of Eastern Prussia before
the Second World War.
Recalling my childhood and school years I can not
deny that this time was happy and cloudless, but to tell the truth
at that time my life seemed a bit crazy to me. Being at school at
the same time I went to music school, art school and learnt to swim
in a swimming pool. I often did not have time enough to sleep and
to have dinner without a hurry, to say nothing of having a rest. After
finishing all these schools I have seldom had a chance of playing
the piano or the guitar or drawing (that is Institute time, which
was not less difficult). But only now I realize that those were wonderful
years, the best ones, that taught me to be patient, hardworking, purposeful,
made the basis of my character and made me understand that I can not
live a dull and uninteresting life. May be because of it having entered
Technical University (I am an engineer-programmer by profession) I
did not live quietly - I did shaping and went dancing (since then
I have been especially fond of Spanish, Latin-American and oriental
dances) and I took part in student parties and shows. And I still
love theater, modern and classical music (I like Tchaikovsky and Bach).
It may be called love for life and I have it thanks to my wonderful
childhood.
I am also fond of traveling! It is connected with
expecting something exciting, mysterious, interesting, a discovery
of a different world with its own customs and wonderful traditions.
I love warm summer rains, the sound of waves at night, stars in the
sky and golden sands of the Baltic Sea, delicate rays of August sun
and red autumn leaves under my feet, I love the first snow and March
snowdrops, lilac in blossom, I love, love, love… But how can I express
in these short lines everything we could tell each other? I speak
rather good English.
